But as he does in his recently published book “Counterrevolution” that brings together studies from Italy in the 1920s, Indonesia in the 1960s, Chile in the 1970s, and today’s Thailand, India, and the Philippines, Bello goes far beyond local developments, maintaining a global perspective on what he considers counterrevolutionary movements.
