Claudia Cuellar

Claudia Cuellar was born in Santa Cruz, Bolivia. She is a teacher and researcher. She graduated in International Relations in her hometown, with a Master's degree in Sociology from the University of Chile and a PHD in Sociology from the Benemérita Universidad Autónoma de Puebla, Mexico. A feminist researcher, she has worked in three lines of research, the struggle against oil and agro-industrial extractivism in the lowlands of Bolivia, feminist and women's organizations in the urban space and hegemonic power relations in the region of Santa Cruz, Bolivia. She is part of different research networks in Mexico and Bolivia and is currently working to understand the forms of disorganization caused by social authoritarianism in the midst of multiple crises affecting Latin America.
