Olga Bubich

Olga Bubich is a Belarusian essayist, photographer, lecturer and memory researcher. She is the author of two photobooks with the latest one dedicated to the topic of the elusive nature of human memory and the importance of counter-memory art activism. Her articles and essays were published in Eurozine, Versopolis, Blaetter, Die Presse, the IWPR and other European and American media. Back in Belarus, before her forced exile, for 13 years she taught at the Faculty of Philosophy and Social Sciences and the Institute of Journalism, Belarusian State University. She is currently an ICORN fellow, based in Berlin as a writer in exile. www.bubich.by
